Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive at Paro International Airport. Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,100m) with panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Punakha Dzong in the afternoon. Overnight in Punakha.

Visit Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility). Optional river rafting on Mo Chhu River. Afternoon walk through rice terraces. Overnight in Punakha.

Drive to Gangtey (Phobjikha Valley). Visit Gangtey Monastery. Evening walk in the valley. Overnight in Gangtey.

Visit the Black-Necked Crane Information Centre. Hike the Gangtey Nature Trail through forests and farmland. Overnight in Gangtey.

Scenic drive to Bumthang via Trongsa. Visit Trongsa Dzong, one of Bhutan's most impressive fortresses. Overnight in Bumthang.

Full day exploring Bumthang's sacred sites: Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Burning Lake (Mebar Tsho), and Tamshing Lhakhang. Overnight in Bumthang.

Drive back to Paro, enjoying the changing landscapes. Stop at Dochula Pass for photos. Overnight in Paro.

Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
